When I think back to the 80’s my passion even then was for unusual jewellery and scarves that were a little different and whilst the really big earrings of the 80’s will probably never see the light of the day again, many of the scarves are still part of my every day wardrobe.
Running my own business was something I always wanted to do, but never had the confidence to try. I had a good corporate career so why rock the boat? Well, as so often is the case, life rocked the boat for me. Forced to take time out after being taken ill whilst travelling for work, I started to really think about what I wanted, was what I had enough did I still want to follow my dream.
Life is about taking risks, how big those risks are is up to you but I knew this was a dream that was not going to go away and the thought of getting to 60 and thinking “what if” was not an option.
With that Glitterarti was born!
I am at the beginning of the Glitterarti journey and I know there will be many up’s and down’s but at the end of the day I will be able to say I tried …… Only time will tell if I succeed, but I know it will be fun and I will be doing something I love.
