A summer of Festivals, Garden and County Shows

Summer Festival

To me summer has always been about lazy days, long relaxed evenings with friends in the garden and a serious over indulgence in Pimms and cream teas……..It is also a time when Glitterarti gets out and about to festivals and shows. A great opportunity to engage with our customers and see if the new products we have selected are what our customers are looking for.

We have a couple of great events coming up in the next few weeks and if you don’t have plans for those weekends then I would recommend taking a peak to see if these events would be a great day out for you.

Alresford Watercress Festival – Sunday the 20th of May

I have been a regular at this festival for a number of years now and it is one I hope to continue doing for some time yet ( although it would be nice to be a visitor one year). The team behind this event work hard in ensuring there is something for all the family and this year is no exception with performances by bands, Morris dancers and local schools, a watercress eating competition, cooking shows to name but a few. Refreshingly there is no entry cost, so why not pop along this Sunday and experience something that is a little different.

Stansted Park Garden Show – June 8th/9th and 10th of June

This is a new show for me but one that comes highly recommended. I am no-where near as green fingered as I would like to be so hopefully I will be able to pick up some tips from the variety of experts that are on hand to talk through topics such as garden design. New this year is a “Mole Catcher” show which I should be quite entertaining. If gardening is not your thing then there are lots of other activities going on along with over 320 exhibitors showcasing their creations.

Glitterarti will have lots of new items on display so it would be great to see you!
